Mr. Moerman is a Managing Director responsible for investment origination in the Netherlands. He joined Kildare Partners in 2018 and has over 20 years of experience in banking and private equity investing.

Mr. Moerman began his career in 2000 in the Netherlands at MeesPierson Corporate Banking, which subsequently became part of ABN Amro, in leveraged finance. He moved to New York in 2003 and London in 2006 during which years he worked in leveraged finance, underwriting numerous transactions across Europe and the US. Beginning in 2009, he worked in risk management in the Netherlands for several years before taking a role leading ABN Amro’s investments in commodities ventures, as well as setting up a major new investment joint venture with institutional investors. In the years immediately prior to joining Kildare, he set up market access for ABN Amro’s distressed debt department, divesting a wide range of distressed assets, including some of the first real estate backed non-performing loan portfolios in the Netherlands. After leaving ABN Amro he managed a non-performing loan portfolio for Attestor Capital. Mr. Moerman has served on the board of various charitable organizations.

Mr. Moerman holds a MA in History from Leiden University and a post-graduate degree in Dutch insolvency law.
